After his dinner this previous night on the U.S.S. Intrepid in New York City with Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull, President Donald Trump boarded Marine One and went from the Wall Street heliport to Bedminster, New Jersey, starting his first weekend at his Trump National Golf Club while in office.
Even though early report indicated he would spend Thursday night in New York City, a new temporary flight restriction shared online implied that there will be a 30-mile temporary flight restriction in the Morristown and Bedminster Township area from Friday to Sunday. The exact sort of TFR was accurate when Trump went to Mar-a-Lago.
The president expressed his reason to spend the weekend in New Jersey via Twitter: “Rather than causing a big disruption in N.Y.C., I will be working out of my home in Bedminster, N.J. this weekend. Also, saves country money!”
After what he tweeted: “The reason I am staying in Bedminster, N. J., a beautiful community, is that staying in NYC is much more expensive and disruptive. Meetings!”
