Debbie Schlussel is now started changing her story that she is not accusing Fox News host Sean Hannity of sexual harassment. This happens after Hannity said that he will sue her because of the false accusations were thrown at him.
Debbie Schlussel, a former Fox News guest, said in an interview with LawNewz.com on Monday that she didn’t consider her interactions with Fox News host Sean Hannity “sexual harassment,” although she continues to say the conservative media star was “creepy.”
“I would never accuse him of that. Sexual harassment has a special meaning under the law, and I would never accuse him of that,” Schlussel, who is also an attorney, told LawNewz.
Schlussel told radio host Pat Campbell on Friday that an alleged conversation occurred that included Hannity inviting her back to his hotel room, which she says she declined. She could not provide a date of the conversation during the Friday interview but said Monday it happened in “the early 2000s.”
On Monday, Schlussel clarified her story, saying that Hannity had invited her back to his hotel, not his hotel room as she said on Friday.
Schussel also alleged on Friday she was eventually not invited back on Hannity’s program because she rebuffed the alleged proposition.
On Monday, Schussel declined to say Hannity “sexual harassed” her but stuck by her description of two alleged incidents with Hannity.
“I never thought I was sexually harassed by Sean Hannity, I thought he was weird and creepy — not someone I liked,” Schlussel said.
Hannity issued his own statement on Sunday strongly denying the claims, calling them “a complete fabrication” by “a serial harasser.”
“LET ME BE CLEAR THE COMMENTS ABOUT ME ON A RADIO SHOW THIS WEEK by this individual ARE 100 percent false and a complete fabrication,” Hannity, 55, wrote. “This individual is a serial harasser who has been lying about me for well over a decade. The individual has a history of making provably false statements against me in an effort to slander, smear and besmirches my reputation,” he said.
“The individual has not just slandered me over the years but many people who this individual disagrees with,” he continued. “This individual desperately seeks attention by any means necessary, including making unfounded personal attacks and using indefensible and outrageous political rhetoric.”
