BREAKING: Famous Fox News Celebrity Found DEAD – Pray For The Family

It doesn’t matter if they’re seven or seventy, when we lose someone great, it’s always too soon.

The former CEO and chairman of Fox News, Roger Ailes, has died. Ailes was 77 at the time of death, and left behind a wife and son.

“I am profoundly sad and heartbroken to report that my husband, Roger Ailes, passed away this morning,” said Elizabeth Ailes, Roger’s grieving widow, in her official statement.

Last year, Roger Ailes departed from Fox News in a haze of controversy. The mainstream media was quick to report on the alleged sexual harassment that occurred between him and Gretchen Carlson, a daytime host on the network.

It was clear to many that Carlson was simply bitter because her contract hadn’t been renewed. After all, if she had really been harassed, why did she wait so long to make her claim?

We were always skeptical of these allegations, and hated seeing this great man — a true patriot and media giant — run through the mud. We can only hope that the mainstream media is kinder to him, and his family, on this tragic day.

“Roger was a loving husband to me, to his son Zachary, and a loyal friend to many. He was also a patriot, profoundly grateful to live in a country that gave him so much opportunity to work hard, to rise — and to give back,” said Elizabeth Ailes.

Born in Ohio, Roger Ailes started Fox News back in the mid 1990s, and quickly brought it to a status of greatness. From its founding in 1996, Fox News became our nation’s number one news network, and held that title longer than any news network ever appearing on television. Amazing!

As a radio and television major from Athens’ Ohio University, Ailes certainly put his degree to good use. The man was an undeniable genius when it came to running a news corporation. The innovations he created in the genre will be used not only by the network he left behind, but by any news corporation that gets its start after his passing.

Roger Ailes changed how news corporations are run — and he did so with integrity and grace. As a patriot, he believed in reporting the hard facts and telling the American people exactly what they needed to know. He created one of the greatest independent television organizations in history, and that’s no small feat.

Ailes was an inspiration to everyone who has an interest in political news being done properly. He was certainly an inspiration to us here at The Angry Patriot. We won’t soon forget this great man, and our prayers go out to his friends and family.

Will Roger Ailes’ family be in your prayers? Share the story on Facebook and let us know because we want to hear YOUR voice!
