BREAKING: FBI Director James Comey Just Got CAREER ENDING News, Here’s Why

This week FBI Director James Comey testified before the House of Representatives to discuss Russian ties with Donald Trump and the alleged wiretapping that the Obama administration undertook during the election process. Comey is both beloved and hated on both sides of the aisle. Conservatives hate that he is investigating the President and his potential ties to Russia and dismissed any allegation that the Obama administration wiretapped the Trump campaign.

Liberals love him for all those things but hate that he dragged Hillary Clinton through the mud when he suspended judgment on whether his agency would press charges against Clinton for her use of a private email server. Now Comey’s decision to investigate Russian ties to Trump and to not move forward with Obama wiretapping claims is infuriating conservatives.

Comey said,

“We’re investigating whether there was any coordination between people associated with the Trump campaign and the Russians.”

However, the Director didn’t note any conclusions his agency had come to as a result of the investigation. The investigation remains ongoing.

A recent poll of 554 Americans showed that 91% of those polled don’t trust the FBI Director. Perhaps the reason they don’t trust him is because they never know what they are going to get from him. One day he is siding with Republicans and the other day he is siding with Democrats.

Some would argue this is actually good. He isn’t beholden to any party or person but to the truth of the issue at hand. Needless to say though that most politicians and average Americans seek consistency more than his wishy-washy policy.

Not like the Director seems to be one of the few unifying things that both Republicans and Democrats share. In such a highly divisive and heated political environment it’s nice to know the party of blue and red can come together on some issues. But it likely won’t last for very long as detentes rarely do.
